Micro and Middle-size Centrifugation with Compact
Footprint
The 3400 can centrifuge not only micro tubes but
also mid-size conical tubes. For example, the 3400
can spin 4x50mL conical tubes at 14,170xg (12,000rpm)
using the AF-5004CA rotor. With a footprint of
only 320mm width by 450mm depth, the 3400 is small
enough for the bench.
Rotor Compatibility with
Kubota's Micro Centrifuges
The 3400 has a rotor compatible with other micro
refrigerated centrifuges (3700 series) and the 6200.
Thus, those who posses a 3700 series or 6200 can
enjoy sharing rotors with the 3400.
User-friendly Rotor Design
Various kinds of tubes such as 0.5/0.2mL PCR tubes
are applied in a genomic sequencing process. The
AF-2724A and AF-2536A rotors, both of which are
available with the 3400, accept these PCR tubes
as well as standard 1.5/2mL tubes without adaptors. |
