Why Hybrid?
Discovery in the life sciences today poses many
new challenges, requiring techniques ranging from
genomics to proteomics. The 6200 accepts 20 different
rotors, making it suitable for a wide range of scientific
application, all in a single model.
High Speed Conical Rotor, AF-5004CH
Isolating "sticky" proteins requires
high g-force, at which tube breakage, such as neck
bending, is common. Kubota's newly designed high-speed
conical rotor allows safe centrifugation up to
22,140xg for isolating even the stickiest of protein.
Microtiter Plate Centrifugation
Many researchers want to use microtiter plate centrifugation
allowing a large number of samples to be centrifuged
using less energy and in less time. The 6200 can
use the PF-745S rotor, for centrifugation of 12
x microtiter plate at 3,100xg. |
